It's been a month!

When is it to much? My mother and my sister both think we have to many animals in the house, but the kids love it. We got the 2 guinea pigs for Christmas. The brown one is "Gus Gus" and the white and black one is "Spots". We adopted "Willow" from the Humane Society. She looks like our old cat "Bailey" who passed away last year, a couple of months ago actually. Then there's the 2 turtles, "Donatello" and "Michael Angelo". I don't know which is which in this picture, so don't ask! Also in the tank with the turtles are a gold fish, "Carrot Top" and 2 algae eaters that have no names. And last but not least, "Lola" who we got 2 years ago for Sierra because our lab, "Rusty" was dying of cancer and we thought it would be easier for her. I don't think that's to much. If we lots of land we'd probably have more dogs and a couple of cats. So I guess we are doing fine!

Well it's been so long since I posted anything. I really need to start keeping up with this thing. Nothing really exciting has been going on, but I will post some pictures of Christmas and New Years.

So the younger kiddies had a good Halloween this year. Sierra and Alex went to Trick or Treating at a couple of houses, then we went to Katrina's church's festival. They liked it and for $5 you got a lot of food and games. Unfortunately they didn't have stuff for the older kids, so they didn't enjoy it very much. Poor things they didn't even go Trick or Treating! Sierra wore her "Tigger" costume that she wore when she was 4 years old, and Alex wore a "Woody" costume that Sierra wore when she was 3 also! Talk about recycling! Alex's costume wasn't complete, but he was happy with it. When Sierra wore it she had real cowboy boots and handkerchief around her neck. Actually Alex was supposed to be "Bumblebee" from Transformers, but I, his mother, misplaced his costume a couple of days before Halloween! Oh well, alls well, that ends well!

The "Boy's" of the Family!

Well as you know there have only been 2 boys born into our family since 18 years ago. I just wanted to put up a little collection of pictures showing how cute and funny those boys are. Girls out there, you better watch out because there are a lot of "women" in our family who are going to be very protective!

It's Halloween Time!!

It's Halloween time again! Halloween is my favorite time of year. It actually starts cooling off in California and the air feels crisp and clean. I love it. I love the kids getting dressed up and being all excited about Trick or Treating. October, November, and December my favorite months. So we went to Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center yesterday to do the whole pumpkin patch thing. I think the kids had fun with Grandma, and posing in all of the pumpkins. We had to do it yesterday because I got a new job and I'm going to be working weekends now. Ugh! So here are some pictures of our outing!

The Kiddies...

As you can see the kids have fun together. They are each others best friends, except of course when someone else is here to play with Sierra. If Sierra gets in trouble and I'm talking to her about it, Alex points his finger at me and yells "NO!" and then proceeds to yell at me for yelling at her. He protects her and asks for her in the middle of the day when she is at school. She gives him a hug first thing in the morning and when she comes home from school. Sierra teaches Alex so many things, and vice versa I think. So I put up a bunch of pictures of them being goofy. There is even one of Alex with his best cousin Bobbie. The last picture is how Alex likes to keep his cars when they are not in use. I am very new at this blogging thing so be patient with me!
